The manual: warm the cups, and do not draw too much water from the group before the shot. Give it the full 12 to 15 minutes; the heating icon follows the boiler only and can clear before the group is ready (Whole Latte Love). Whole Latte Love measured shots at 90 to 93 °C.

You can raise the boiler temperature in the menu, up to 123 °C.
