Steps marked "the manual" are from Rocket Milano's "Giotto-Mozzafiato FAST user and maintenance manual", English section, Ed. 01, 11-2024. It covers start-up, brewing, steam, the backflush, the screen and gasket, the steam tip, the tank and tray, the boiler water change, the menu and the alarm tables. It does not recommend descaling and sends every repair to an authorised technician. Rocket's programming sheet (January 2025) adds the menu details. Part numbers are from Rocket's FAST V spare-parts sheets (01/2025). Everything else is marked where it appears as coming from a named retailer (Whole Latte Love, Seattle Coffee Gear, Clive Coffee, Chris' Coffee, 1st-line, Rocket Espresso UK) or an owner (home-barista.com), and as older Giotto or general E61 where it is. Nothing here was checked on a machine.

Three slips in the manual are flagged where they matter: it calls the drip-tray grid the "cup warmer grid" when reaching the buttons; its alarm table points to "par. 7.5" for the reset, which is 7.4; and its start-up text calls the steam knob "3", which is the lever in its parts picture.

Not settled, and flagged where they appear: the panel fastener count, drive and size; the diffuser's blade width; the lever nut, cam housing and group sizes; the gasket's orientation; how much water to draw for the boiler change; the safety thermostat's reset; the brew pressure figure; and the EU warranty. Rocket's web page says the V has no tank sensor; its catalogue, manual and parts sheets say it does.

The casing is measured from the dimensioned drawing in the manual (fig. 3.1), which matches Rocket's 340 × 457 × 403 mm.
