Rocket's manual says not to attempt repairs yourself: contact an authorised, qualified technician, and any repair must be done by Rocket or an authorised dealer using only original parts. Rocket does not cover damage from unauthorised changes or non-original parts. Treat this as dealer work.

Rocket publishes no panel method for the FAST. These steps are Seattle Coffee Gear's 2014 outline for Rocket machines in general, with an owner's notes on the older Giotto.

1. Switch off, unplug and let the machine cool.
2. Lift off the tank lid and take the tank out.
3. Take out the drip tray and the portafilter.
4. Lift off the cup tray.
5. Loosen the bolts holding the panels: on the sides, the bottom or the back.
6. Take each side panel off separately.
