How we earn: affiliate links

The tools tray and the cards beside each guide, its Accessories screen and its parts list link to sellers. Some of these links are, or may become, affiliate links: if you buy through one, the seller may pay us a commission. It costs you nothing extra, and it never decides which tool, part or seller we list: we list what fits the machine and what the job needs.

As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases: our links to Amazon UK carry our Associates tag. Links that earn a commission are marked in the page's code as sponsored. Every guide page says, under its job list, that product links earn us a commission.

Prices, stock and fit

Prices and stock are read from each seller on a given day and change often. The seller's price at checkout is the one that counts. Where we have not read a price in your country's own currency, we show none.
A ≈ beside a part means a match by name, or that the price or fit was not read: check the part number before you order.
We are not the seller. Orders, delivery, returns and warranty are between you and the seller or the maker.

Using the guides

The guides follow each maker's manual where one exists and say when a method comes from owners or retailers. Always follow your own machine's manual and safety labels where they differ.
Mains electricity, hot water and steam under pressure can hurt you. Unplug the machine and let it cool before you open it, and leave the jobs the maker says are for a technician to a technician.
Opening a machine or descaling it against the maker's advice can affect its guarantee. The guides say where a maker says so.
The 3D models are our own drawings, made to scale from parts diagrams, published sizes and photos. Hidden insides are approximate.
Brand and product names belong to their owners. We are independent of the makers named.
We do our best to keep everything correct, but the guides are provided as information, without warranty. Nothing here limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.
